The Education System

Baldwin City is traditionally dedicated to youth and education. Programs for all ages, preschool to adult are available. Located in southern Douglas County, the 139 square mile district combines the elements of rural living, state highways and easy access to metropolitan areas to provide numerous opportunities for quality lifestyles.

Unified School District 348 offers programs for children of all ages. Special Education, tutorial programs and college-release classes are a few of the opportunities available to students.

All schools have received accreditation from the Kansas State Department of Education.

Four schools are located in the Baldwin City community: the Primary Center, the Intermediate Center, the Junior High, and the High School.
