Greenbush Online Resources

Did you know you had access to over thousands of online resources through the Discovery Channel and NBCLearn? Full length videos, video segments, songs, pictures, tests, quizzes, lesson plans that you can use in your classroom with your students? This session will provide an overview of those resources with information on how to access them, as well as highlights of each resource. In addition, all of these resources can be accessed with one single log in and password, eliminating the need to remember several different passwords. New this year is the ability to create login information for your students, allowing them easier access to these resources as well.  Room 215.

tiffany.matthews@usd262.net
There are many apps for the “drill and kill” of skills, but have you ever wondered how to use apps for more? In this session, you will explore several apps that focus on student creative creation, instead of using iPads as expensive flashcards.  Featured apps are for all ages, all content areas, and allow for cross-curricular opportunities.  Put away the “fancy flashcards” and open the world of creativity to stimulate student learning.  Room 202.
