Virtual Academy

The Greenbush Virtual Academy (GVA) is a partnership between Greenbush and Baldwin City USD 348 to provide students a virtual option for our district’s residents. Greenbush, an experienced leader in providing virtual curriculum, will provide students access to an asynchronous platform while providing synchronous learning supports through Zoom or onsite all at no cost to you! This program is fully accredited, taught by highly qualified teachers for all grade levels, and is tailored to meet the Baldwin City USD 348 District requirements. Your student can learn at their own pace – anywhere, anytime, to fit their specific needs.

Greenbush Virtual Academy’s Instructional Approach:

Students in grades K-5 will be enrolled in an elementary program taught by a licensed elementary teacher using the Florida Virtual School virtual curriculum platform. Students in grades 6-12 will be taught by a licensed teacher endorsed in their specific content area. These courses will be delivered through the Edgenuity virtual curriculum platform. Courses are designed to meet Kansas standards with support provided by Kansas-licensed GVA teachers. Local districts establish all local requirements for admission and credits as the credit granting institution.

Admission is based on approval from the Administrator of the student’s attendance center and may include some or all of the following: access to reliable internet, attendance habits, GPA, on-track to graduate, state assessment scores from the previous year (Grades 4-12), and successful completion of previous grade level courses.

If you choose to apply to the Greenbush Virtual Academy-USD 348 next year and are accepted, your student and your family will remain a part of the USD348 Bulldog family. #baldwinbuilt
